Minimum Qualifications and experience
§ Bachelor Degree in Law (LLB) from recognized higher learning Institution
§ The candidate must have successfully completed Post Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice (PDLP) of the Law School of Tanzania
§ At least 5 years of experience on Rail/Road construction Industries
§ Age: under 45 years
§ Language ability: Spoken and written well in English and Swahili
§ Other requirement: Ability to independently complete various tasks and to excel at writing reports and daily updates. The ability to communicate effectively with consultants and employers

EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES
1: LAWYER (LEGAL COUNSEL) (1)
The Lawyer will have the following main duties:
1. Court Litigation, negation and civil dispute settlements Guide managers and ensure compliance with rules and regulations
3. Provide legal opinion in different departments within the Company
4. Conduct and Control disciplinary process internally and manage to attend as well as handling litigation procedures at Commission for Mediation and Arbitration (CMA) and higher courts
5. Consult and handle all corporate legal processes with support to Human Resource Department in disciplinary procedure, process and mechanism.
6. Structure, draft and review reports and other legal documents and develop company policy and position on legal issues Represent company in legal proceedings (administrative boards, court trials, labor cases etc.)
Draft and administer all contracts, facilitating negotiation and attend company meetings.
9. Provide legal education to the employer and employees to understand rules and labor laws within the Project.
10. Research, anticipate and guard company against legal risks
11. Support Managers and Operating Officers with daily legal operational functions.
12. Provide legal opinion (generally and substantially) in the project and in different departments with regard to the legal problem at hand.
13. Developed detailed litigation strategies for each case.
14. Communicated effectively with clients to interpret laws, rulings and regulations which affected each case.
15. Conduct in depth legal research in order to write effective proposals, legal opinion, agreements and contract.
16. Reduce or eliminate risk by provide expert legal advice on legality of business plans and operational activities with regard to criminal matters, labor matters, contract issues, finance issues and management issues.
17. Deliver an exceptional level of legal service to employer, employee, client and consultant in the operation of the project.
18. Analyse departmental documents for appropriate distribution and filing
19. Draft minutes, different documents, attestations of contracts, affidavit and copies of passports, work permits and experts academic qualifications
