ADD International is looking for a Co-Chief Executive & Transformation Officer (CETO) to job-share with our current CETO.

Key details

Salary: Circa £80,000 per annum pro rata to 3 days.
Location: Home-Based initially – in the UK, Bangladesh, Uganda, Tanzania, Sudan or Cambodia. If and when Covid-19 restrictions allow, we would consider the role being office-based in one of our offices in these countries. UK-based applicants must be eligible to work in the UK.

Reports to: Co-Chair of Trustees and accountable to the Board of Trustees
Contract: 3 days per week Job Share with current CTO starting April 2022 on a permanent basis.

Role Context

ADD International is looking for a Co-Chief Transformation Officer to work together with our current CTO who will be reducing her hours from April onwards, to lead the organisation through a time of re-imagination and change.

As an organisation that works with disability activists in Africa and Asia our Trustees are clear that lived experience leadership is hugely important to our mission. We are therefore deliberately reserving this post as a positive action initiative for a Disabled person as is permissible under UK law.

This is an opportunity for someone with leadership experience and intrapreneurial drive to help define and build an INGO of the future; rooted in the lived experience of disabled people1 in the countries we work in and to work in a Co-leadership capacity to implement changes recently agreed by our Board of Trustees.
