Sinosky International Company is a building and civil class one construction company. We seek a highly motivated and experienced Professional Civil Engineer tojoin our technical team and lead design and site delivery of our projects.
Key responsibilities:
- Lead design, planning and technical supervision of civil engineering projects from inception to completion.
- Prepare and review engineering drawings, bills of quantities (BOQ), specifications and tender documents.
- Supervise contractors on site to ensure compliance with design, quality standards, health & safety and project schedule.
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, local authorities and other stakeholders. Monitor project budgets, prepare progress reports and manage change orders.
- Mentor junior engineers and site staff; ensure documentation and As-Built records are maintained.

Minimum qualifications & experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (BSc/BEng).
- Registered as a Professional Engineer (PE) with the Engineers RegistrationBoard (ERB) of Tanzania registration is an advantage and may be required.
- Minimum 5 years’ professional experience in civil engineering works (design, site supervision and project management) experience in mediumtolarge scale construction projects preferred.
- Proven experience with engineering software (AutoCAD, AutoCADCivil 3D, protastructure, ArchGIS etc).
- Strong knowledge of Tanzanian building and construction codes, contract administration and procurement processes.
- Excellent communication skills in English; Kiswahili is an advantage. Good leadership, problem solving and interpersonal skills.
- Preferred / Desirable: Structural Engineering.
- Experience with project management tools and ISO quality systems.
- Prior experience working with consulting/contracting firms in Tanzania.
