Position: 3 Credit Officers – Intern
Tatamwise Microfinance Ltd
Job Type: Full-time

Job Responsibilities
- Conduct business surveys to identify potential salaried clients , entrepreneurs and assess their eligibility through field visits and collateral verification.
- Organize and manage client relationships to support portfolio growth and quality.
- Verify client documentation, including trading licenses, land or tenancy agreements, spousal consent, and guarantor details.
- Process loan applications and facilitate timely disbursements in line with company policy.
- Ensure consistent field presence through daily attendance, business visits, and client follow-up.
- Recruit new clients and support the achievement of monthly branch targets.
- Monitor loan repayments and follow up on overdue accounts.
- Prepare accurate weekly and monthly performance reports.
- Uphold and promote Tatamwise safeguarding and integrity policies at all times.

Qualifications and Experience
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Finance, Marketing, Microfinance, or related fields.
- Experience in the microfinance industry is an added advantage.
- Strong interpersonal and customer relationship management skills.
- Action-oriented, self-driven, and results-focused.
- Excellent communication skills in both English and Swahili.
- Fresh graduates with field attachment or internship experience in financial institutions are encouraged to apply.
