Accounting and Admin Executive at Rajan Agro Exports Ltd October 2025 

Job Title: Accounts Executive 
Location: Dar es Salaam, Tanzania
Job Type: Full-time
Department: Finance & Accounts
Reports to: Finance Manager

Job Summary: 
The Accounts Executive will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting operations, maintaining accurate financial records, supporting financial reporting, and ensuring compliance with company policies and statutory regulations. This role involves working closely with internal departments and external auditors to ensure timely and accurate financial management.

Key Responsibilities: 

• Record daily accounting transactions (sales, purchases, payments, receipts, journal entries) in Excel & Tally
• Maintain accounts payable and receivable ledgers and reconcile supplier and customer balances.
• Handle bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow statements.
• Prepare monthly and annual financial statements and management reports.
• Support audit requirements and coordinate with external auditors.
• Ensure statutory compliance with VAT, PAYE, withholding tax, and other local tax requirements.
• Assist in payroll processing and related accounting entries.
• Verify supporting documents for all financial transactions to ensure accuracy and policy compliance.
• Support management with financial data analysis, budgets, and forecasts.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or related field.
• Minimum 2–4 years of experience in accounting or finance (preferably in trading, manufacturing, or agro commodities sector).
• Proficiency in Tally ERP
• Good understanding of accounting principles, tax laws, and compliance.
• Strong Excel and analytical skills.
• High attention to detail, accuracy, and integrity.
