Position: SENIOR ACCOUNTANT
Job Type: Full-time
Location: Dar es Salaam, Tanzania
Are you a detail-oriented finance professional with strong accounting skills and a drive for accuracy and efficiency? We are looking for a Senior Accountant to join our dynamic team at Said Salim Bakhresa & Co. Ltd.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle day-to-day accounting operations and financial records
- Perform accurate bank reconciliations and account reconciliations
- Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards
- Assist with audits, documentation, and monthly closing activities
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in accounting systems
- Collaborate with finance and operations teams to support business need

What You’ll need
- CPA qualification (mandatory) with 3-5 years of post qualification experience
- SAP or ERP knowledge is required
- Proven experience working with a mid-size or large, reputable manufacturing company
- Strong skills in bank and account reconciliation
- Proficiency in MS Excel
- Solid knowledge of accounting principles, standards, and best practices
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills

Position: COSTING & INVENTORY MANAGER
Job Type: Full-time
Location: Dar es Salaam, Tanzania
Are you a finance professional with strong expertise in costing, inventory control, and SAP systems? Do you thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment where accuracy and collaboration are key?
We are looking for an experienced Costing & Inventory Manager to join our dynamic team at Said Salim Bakhresa & Co. Ltd.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle product costing in SAP and prepare accurate cost estimates
- Conduct month-end costing runs in SAP
- Prepare and issue product pricing estimates for customers
- Develop cost models to support pricing for existing and new SKUs
- Serve as Inventory Controller, ensuring accurate stock management
- Lead month-end and periodic stock take activities
- Work closely with production and sales teams to align costing, pricing, and inventory processes.
What You’ll need
You Bring
- Qualified CPA/CMA with around 5 years of post-qualification experience
- Mandatory experience working in a mid-sized or large multinational company (MNC)
- Strong knowledge of product costing and inventory management
- Proficiency with SAP preferred
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and reporting skills
- Ability to work cross-functionally with production, sales, and finance teams
