Mission and objectives
Our organization mission is to support rural children reaching their full potential. To work towards our mission we have set several projects and objectives.
FOOD AND NUTRITION
The objective of this program is to help parents improve nutrition by demonstrating how to use garden produce for the most nutritious meals. Teach the basics of raising poultry. Help assemble, plant and harvest household container gardens.

PARENT WORKSHOPS
The objective of this program is to conduct interactive workshops with pregnant women and parents amongst a topic from health, food, nutrition, hygiene and disease prevention.

CONSTRUCTION, REPAIR AND MAINTENANCE
The objectives of this program is to help construct, paint, repair, and maintain classrooms, libraries and community centers. Install solar panels, making a quality learning environments for rural children.

CHILDCARE
The objective of this project is to establish the foundation for life-long learning at preschools for three- to six-year-olds.

HEALTH CARE
The object of this program is to care for pregnant women, and help ensure thriving pregnancies and healthy deliveries. Provide patient care, health screenings and checkups, lice treatments, dental and eye exams, and de-worming treatments. Teach basic health care using the text, “Where There is No Doctor.”

TEACHING ENGLISH
The objective of this program is Tutoring pre and primary school students in English, since English is the language of instructions and language of opportunity.

Learn to serve Community of Tanzania (LESCOTA) is looking for support of online volunteers with strong proficiency in managing and/or have experience with non-profit online fundraising platforms. We are planning to use online fundraising platforms effectively and raise funds for us to continue construction of our Mango Pre and primary English medium school in a rural village of Matekela, Tanzania.

Task description
Learn to serve Community of Tanzania (LESCOTA) is looking for support of online volunteers with strong proficiency in managing and/or have experience with non-profit online fundraising platforms. We are planning to use online fundraising platforms effectively and raise funds for us to continue construction of our Mango Pre and primary English medium school in a rural village of Matekela, Tanzania. The volunteers will advise us how to use the chosen fundraising platform effectively and guide us in developing the fundraising strategy. The online volunteers will not submit funding requests on behalf of the organization. The volunteers will work with the program director and provide advice on developing a fundraising strategy. They must have strong teamwork skills. All meetings and communications will be done via whatsapp and email exchange.

Requirements
Required experience
We are in need of committed volunteers and who have teamwork, strong communication and fundraising skills. We are expecting to recruit the followings:- Engagers: Individuals who will interact, talk and nurture relationships. Connectors: Individuals who can leverage networks and make valuable introductions. Askers: Individuals who understand the skills and timing necessary to ask for the donation. Stewards: Individuals who communicate with and nurture ongoing donors and promote the relationships.
