Key Responsibilities:
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
Activity
  • Ensure that food commodities are handled as per food handling standards and policies at both Extended Delivery Points and Final Distribution Points
  • Ensure excellent performance for all GFD, SFP, and Kitchen garden interventions for the Nduta camp
  • Develop a food distribution plan and ensure that it is shared with relevant stakeholders timely
  • Ensure that the right entitlement is provided to beneficiaries
  • Ensure effective networking with key stakeholders as well as proper attendance to camp meetings /forums accordingly
  • Compile quality periodical reports and share timely
  • Ensure proper management of organization resources assigned to camp activities
  • Provide supportive supervision to food handling staff

  • Program Performance at an acceptable level
  • Quality reports are produced and shared timely
  • Efficiency stands at >90%

KNOWLEDGE/ QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE ROLE
Required Professional Experience
  • Three years experience in working with humanitarian operations,
  • Experience in a managerial position
  • Experience in handling commodities management
  • Experience in handling staff issues
  • Training in commodities management, response training, human resources management, and management.

Required Education, training, license, registration, and certification
  • Degree in Accountant, Procurement, Community Economy Development
  • Master Qualification is the added advantage
