PROJECT MANAGER
Responsibilities

a) Oversee and manage all assigned projects
b) Chair/attend stakeholder meetings
c) Line management of assigned direct reports
d) Review works arising and contribute to programmed discussions
e) Monitor and support resolution of reactive and remedial work order performance
f) Ensure all projects are assigned on time, within budget and with margin improvements where possible through resource and procurement efficiencies
g) Continually risk assess projects, placing mitigating actions in resolution
h) Collate/update associated reports and issue in a timely manner
i) Manage client relationships, including progress, scope clarification and variation activities.
j) Maintain internal systems with accurate data
k) Develop and maintain detailed project plans
l) Manage trending and statistical analysis
m) Conduct internal closed-loop reporting with other departments
n) Develop and maintain process documents in a clear demonstration of business protocols and delivery expectations
o) Demonstrate clear and visible leadership
p) Maintain and monitor project plans, project structures
q) Writing project status reports for upwards escalation
r) Preparing necessary data and or presentation materials for meetings
s) Ensure project deadlines are met
t) Determine and log project changes
u) Provide subject matter expertise support as needed to the Additional Works Team leadership
v) Undertake assigned projects as required
w) Be responsible for supporting projects employing Project Management methodologies and administrative support
x) Update, maintain and interrogate information management systems and be the central point of contact for the account relating to lifts
y) Monitor projects and associated key documentation throughout their lifecycle and assist with the smooth delivery of projects from end to end
z) Develop and maintain a process for tracking and reporting New Works.

Qualifications.
a) Having a clear understanding of the statutory regulations.
b) Bachelor’s degree in civil or structural engineering, project management, construction, building, or related field
c) State-issued certification or engineering license
d) Demonstrating the ability to take the lead with excellent communication skills.
e) Strong working knowledge of AutoCAD and Microsoft Office suite.

HAULING EQUIPMENT OPERATOR III EXCAVATOR ROCK BREAKER
Responsibilities.

a) Compliance to the use of required PPE for the task at hand
b) Attendance daily, on time
c) Zero complaints from customers about your work
d) Compliance to related Standard Operating Procedures
e) Equipment Pre-Start Inspections conducted prior to operating any equipment on a shifty basis and sub-standard equipment reported & corrected
f) Workplace inspections conducted shifty as assigned and substandard conditions reported and / corrected within shift
g) Maintain communication throughout the shift by reporting in intervals not exceeding one hour
h) Safe & efficient Equipment operation within Standard Operating Procedure requirements, as per production plan
i) Proven ability to meet production targets in a safe manner.
j) Achievement of daily planned targets
k) Zero Damage to equipment as a result of poor operating techniques or negligence daily
l) Carry out housekeeping activities before and after every task completed
m) Team Based Job Safety Analysis completed for every task without a Standard Operating Procedure
n) Field Level Risk Assessment completed accurately for every task assigned
o) Zero involvement in an incident or accident, those occurred are reported to Supervisor within shift

Qualifications:
a) Grader, Dozer highly advantageous
b) Ordinary Secondary Education (Form 4)
c) Sound knowledge of Open Pit Mining Operations
d) Dump Truck Operator license
e) Basic ground Control Training
f) Valid Tanzanian Drivers License
g) Formal Training Certificate from in HME Equipment from VETA Institute
h) Experience and competencies needed
i) Experience in dealing with multi-cultural orientations
j) At least 5 years industry experience in Open Pit Mining Operations
k) At least 5 Years’ experience in operating Mining Excavators in a production environment.

MACHINE OPERATORS (EXCAVATORS, WHEEL LOADER, GRADER, ADT)
Responsibilities.

a) Operate the excavator/ wheel Loader and other heavy equipment in a safe and appropriate manner.
b) Perform daily maintenance and safety checks of equipment.
c) Conduct pre-operational checks on equipment, and clean, lubricate and refill equipment as necessary.
d) Ensure trench is excavated to the proper depth/grade.
e) Follow directions of ground crew regarding craning, gravel placement and grading.
f) Attend daily and weekly safety meetings and inspections and work with Safety Department to investigate damage, incidents or near misses in the worksite, and ensure proper procedures are carried out according to the Company’s Safety Program.
g) Work in a safe, responsible manner to not intentionally or unintentionally injure oneself, or• endanger the wellbeing of others.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience within the construction/mining industry
  • 2 to 3 years’ experience operating machines is required.
  • Basic technical Knowledge of Excavator/Wheel Loader and other heavy equipment.
  • Have a sense of urgency to meet deadlines
  • multi-task and set priorities effectively
  • Possess a positive “can do” attitude and willing to work Out of town and travel

SITE ENGINEER
Responsibilities

a. Inspect facilities and analyze operational data
b. Maintain compliance with safety and regulatory standards
c. Compile estimates for technical and material requirements for project development
d. Evaluate operations and processes
e. Suggest process and technical design changes to improve performance and efficiency
f. Implement improvements to designs and processes
g. Test material and structural integrity
h. Research the environmental impact of projects
i. Incorporate eco-friendly and sustainable features into design plans
j. Create graphical representations of proposed solutions
k. Prepare proposal documents and presentations
l. Compile and present reports explaining project details to non-technical stakeholders
m. Monitor project progress, compliance with design specifications and safety standards
n. Direct engineering activities; assign tasks, provide training and support
o. Create work schedules and adjust as needed to meet project deadlines
p. Maintain detailed documentation of all site engineering activities
q. Collaborate with management to align activities with desired business outcomes

e) Reviewing government regulations and ordinances.
f) Monitoring and optimizing safety procedures, production processes, and regulatory compliance.
g) Making recommendations or presenting alternative solutions to problems.
h) Confidently liaising with clients and other professional subcontractors.
i) Project management duties (e.g., managing budgets, resources, and deadlines; acquiring and compiling quotes, etc.).

Qualifications
a) Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or related field, accredited by the Institution of Civil Engineers.
b) Registration/Licensure as a professional engineer may be required.
c) A minimum of 5 years of industry knowledge may be strongly desired.
d) Familiarity with design software, such as Autodesk, AutoCAD Civil 3D, and MicroStation.
e) Knowledge of map creation software and photo imaging software.
f) Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with a high level of accuracy in calculations and design.
g) Excellent time management skills to ensure project deadlines are met.
h) Leadership skills to effectively manage a diverse group of professionals working on one project.
i) Ability to coordinate more than one project at a time.

SITE FOREMAN
Responsibilities

a) Report project progress to superiors
b) Develop a work schedule for workers
c) Supervise all construction workers
d) Be the liaison between construction workers and supervisors
e) Solve disputes between workers
f) Ensure that a project is adequately staffed
g) Assign tasks to construction workers
h) Ensure that the project is staying on or under budget

Qualifications:
a) High School Diploma or Degree required
b) Ability to organize a work schedule
c) Ability to solve disputes between workers
d) Excellent communication skills
e) Ability to negotiate
f) Deep knowledge of the construction industry and processes
g) Ability to read construction drawings and blueprints
