Compliance Data Administrator
Due to expansion of our services we are seeking services of a Compliance Data Administrator
Job Brief
  • Compliance Data Administrator will conduct data input to Borealis Data platform, up to date system with obligations, actions, inspection result.
  • Distribute report to key stakeholders with overall compliance areas etc Responsibilities:
  • Uploading of legal type of requirements into Borealis data platform.
  • Collect checklist from all data providers and synchronize status with system on regular basis.
  • Ensure corrective action was developed promptly for non-compliance items, monitor progress, timely close, collect record and report
  • Conduct regular gap analysis obligation data to ensure no missing items left
  • Collect and maintain different type of data, reports, plans, permits, licenses in department storage or project tool(aconex, etc.) per criteria provided.
  • Liaise with all project area leads to develop reporting dashboards, widgets and customize them for every project area
  • Maintain the overall tracking of the obligation and follow up inspection, actions, records related to project scope
  • Issue status reports to project team per project area in accordance with instructions from delivery manager
  • Provide training for new users of Borealis
  • Regularly check system functionalities work performance, take necessary actions to rectify revealed deficiencies and report to RC Lead or IT team
  • Conduct and participate in all meetings on subject relating to potential non-compliance, compliance reports, expedite implementation of corrective actions, implementation of the obligation.

Qualifications /Experience
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in data analysis role in oil and gas projects, mining or general construction areas.
  • Advance IT skills, including Excel, Word, previous data software experience is plus
  • Excellent presentation and documentation skill to explain and resolve effectively on technical issue to project team within the project.
  • Highly motivated individual who is capable of working independently and participating within a high-profile international team.

Lifting Engineer
Due to expansion of our services we are seeking services of a Lifting Engineer
Job Description
  • Act as technical advisor of lifting service
  • Promote sate lifting operation referring HSE police and international standard
  • Manage lifting cargo personnel
  • Insures the promotion / implantation of LMS and safe culture on site
  • Participates in the definitions of the LMS and participates in the internal audits by Competent Persons for Lifting Operations – CPLO
  • Anomaly reporting, critical lift reporting to CPLO

Activities
  • Provide expertise in daily lifting activities including: Categorization of lifts
  • Risk assessment and hazard identification
  • Assist CPLO in technical review of lifting operations A. Selection of equipment for lifting operations
  • Performance of toolbox talks
  • Post-job debriefs
  • Assessment of completed jobs
  • Periodic review of generic lift plans
  • Promote safe lifting operation referring HSE police and international standard, review engineering calculation for complex and complicated lifts
  • Review complicated and complex lift plan and attend the lifts
  • Perform condition check and fitness for purpose on lifting appliances, Cargo Carrying Units – CCUs, and evaluate their utilization on site
  • To be involved in plans internal audits of the lifting operations, participates in lifting operations incident investigation and analyses.

Accountability
  • Assess, analyse, plan and adjust lifting operations on site regarding Procedure and Local Rules
  • To advice to all Contractors objectives and expectations for HSE, accountability and performance for lifting Activity
  • Maintain systematic and methodological approach to lifting Operations, assist to CPLO with establish reliable system of documentation, processes and personnel competence assurance;
  • Ensure flawless operation of lifting and continuous improvement on site

Qualification and Experience
  • Minimum 3 years in the lifting industry at supervisory level
  • Technical Engineer and/or Industry related qualifications such as LEEA.
  • Broad and extensive knowledge in lifting equipment & operations
  • Working to International Standards such as: BS, Lifting Operations and Lifting Equipment Regulations – LOLER, etc.
  • Experienced in Oil & Gas Industry – advantage
  • Worked in onshore & offshore operations
  • Have working profile such as: Slinger/Rigger * Slinger/Rigger Foreman * Slinger/Rigging Supervisor * Lifting Supervisor * Lifting Superintendent
  • Risk assessment in a relation to health, safety & environment
  • Supervision of critical lifts
  • Planning of critical and non-critical lifts
  • Experience in training and coaching is preferred

Logistics Plans Coordinator
Due to expansion of our services we are seeking services of a Logistics Plans Coordinator
Job Brief
The Logistics Shipping Clerk will be responsible for all Logistics interface between Dar es Salaam / Tanga Port. The position will report to the Port Interface Logistics Manager. The job will require the incumbent to move to the various port sites both Dar es Salaam and Tanga (or other ports as required) to manage the interface with Construction Contractors / Port Staff, including Customs and Immigration. The post is also responsible for the collection of all relevant paperwork (electronically), the filing and storage of said paperwork for the Project. They will also provide a liaison function in support of the Port Interface Logistics Manager.

Qualifications / Experience Required
  • BA or BS preferred.
  • 8-10 yrs. minimum in project Traffic & Maritime Logistics including on site experience.
  • Must have a practical knowledge of port activities, the dispatch of vehicles including paperwork, routing, restraint and dangerous goods.
  • Dangerous goods qualification highly desirable.
  • Must have extensive experience of Logistic Maritime field related work with specific experience in the associated Logistic paperwork.
  • Must have an extensive proven knowledge of the Tanzanian Ugandan customs & excise, and immigration and road permitting procedures / laws.
  • Must have proven experience and be able to work without immediate supervision and act on own initiative.
  • Must have good written and oral communication skills.
  • Must have extensive knowledge of commercial transportation and logistics practices and standards as they relate to Tanzanian / Ugandan operations.
  • Keen safety awareness, HES Qualification desirable.
  • Lifting and slinging experience / qualification highly desirable.
  • Professional Certification in Supply Chain Logistics desirable.

Required Competencies:
  • Must be able to effectively communicate with clients and interact with operations, project, and construction management.
  • Must have good and proven IT skills.
  • Operates well in multi-company team environment.
  • Prompt and driven worker.
  • Knowledgeable and up to date with Project Management policies and procedures and brings any non-compliance issues to the attention of management.
  • May be called upon to supervise the activities of other logistic management personnel in support of project traffic & logistics activities.
  • Has knowledge of Logistic Management Systems / software and I capable of producing reports and briefings.
  • Is fully conversant with all HES / R3 protocols, programmes and requirements.

Management / Supervisory Responsibilities
  • Must be able to manage the Logistic interface between Port Authorities and Construction Logistics Contractors / Material Control staff / Transport Companies and drivers.
