Zanzibar Muslim Women Aids Support Organization seeks for suitable candidates to fill the Finance Intern post, to assist on accounting and finance daily activities whilst learning various financial processes along the way necessary for career growth.

Zanzibar Muslim Women Aids Support Organization (ZAMWASO) is a Non-Profit and NonGovernmental Organization registered in 2001. The Organization is dedicated to support the well being of orphans and Vulnerable Children (OVC) through improved community health and education.
Responsibilities
Assist in the collection and preparation of monthly financial reports
Post journal entries
Help with accounts receivable, payable and bank statement reconciliation
Assist with audits
Balance sheet reconciliation
Work with the finance team on yearly forecasting efforts
Manage the monthly tracking of our physical inventory
Support the payment processing team
Data entry
Contract setup and close out
Financial planning
Performing administrative duties such as preparing invoices and updating accounting files, as and when required.
Preparing and verifying expenses reports and statements.

A bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related subjects.
Familiarity with accounting software.
